Air Uganda Adds New Flight

According to eturbonews, Air Uganda will start flying non-stop between Entebbe and Mogadishu, Somalia, initially three times a week from 8 July.
This service will offer government officials, army personnel and a growing number of business people from Uganda the fastest way yet to reach Somalia.
Air Uganda is also keenly eying Southern African destinations, and while official confirmation is still pending, Harare, and perhaps Lusaka have been mentioned as possible destinations.
A few weeks ago, Air Uganda received a third CRJ 200 aircraft to replace its last MD 87, which has been redeployed.

Air Uganda Flies to Kilimanjaro

According to globaltimes, Air Uganda has re-introduced its flights between Entebbe and Kilimanjaro International Airport, following the recent acquisition of a third 50-seater Bombardier CRJ-200 jet.
The Ugandan airline stopped flying between the two destinations five years ago. Air Uganda marketing manager, Jenifer Musiime, said the re-launch of the route is part of the airline's aim to boost air transport in East Africa.
According to Musiime, the airline will fly from Entebbe to Kilimanjaro four times a week. Air Uganda is set to launch another new route from Entebbe to Mogadishu in July, which will be a three flights a week service.
